Ginger is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in the state of Oregon. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Eastern Washington University, and will
be graduating with a master’s degree in Marriage, Couples and Family Counseling from George Fox University in the spring of 2024.

Ginger values collaboration, and believes in the transformative power of being in a healthy relationship. Through a holistic approach that integrates interpersonal, attachment-based, emotionally-focused and depth therapies, Ginger works with clients to shift patterns of being and doing, so that individuals, couples, and families
can live fuller, more expansive lives.

Ginger is warm, easy-going, open, and exudes a calming presence. In working with children, she honors their unique developmental level, and helps them express their feelings and process their experiences through the language of play. In working with adults, she integrates mindfulness and self-compassion techniques to increase tolerance while navigating stuck points.

In working with couples and groups she helps to discover patterns within conflict, bridge differences, and find shared meaning.

She is trained in individual psychotherapy, Sandtray
therapy, Gottman Method Couples therapy, Child-Centered Play therapy, and AutPlay therapy.

Life is challenging, and filled with paradoxes. To further complicate things- relationships can be our biggest source of distress and our biggest source of joy.

Ginger chose to be a counselor because she finds fulfillment in helping others live with intention, and engage in practices that enhance connection to self, others, and the world. Ginger has faith that you can find space within life’s struggle to flex and flow as you journey with courage into landscapes of
integrated healing.

Ginger is supervised by Kelle DeBruin.
