Ginger is deeply committed to guiding individuals and families towards transformative growth and harmony through an integrated therapeutic approach. Ginger seamlessly merges the principles and techniques of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy,
and Experiential Family Therapy, providing a comprehensive and personalized path towards healing and lasting change.
Individual Therapy
At the heart of Ginger’s practice is ACT, a mindfulness-based approach that emphasizes acceptance of one’s thoughts and feelings while promoting committed action in alignment with personal values. Utilizing ACT, Ginger guides clients in developing psychological flexibility, enabling them to respond to life challenges with resilience and openness, so that they can gain the tools to cultivate a rich, purposeful life even in the face of adversity.
Couples Therapy
Ginger is dedicated to helping couples build and nurture strong, fulfilling relationships. Utilizing the
research-based assessments and interventions developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman, Ginger assists couples in understanding their unique dynamics and improving their communication and connection. By focusing on enhancing friendship, managing conflict constructively, and creating shared meaning,
Ginger helps couples rebuild trust, deepen intimacy, and develop the skills needed for a thriving partnership.
Child and Family Therapy
In working with children and families, Experiential Family Therapy takes center stage in Ginger’s approach. This hands-on method encourages clients to engage in interactive experiences that unveil underlying emotions, patterns, and unspoken narratives. Through guided activities and open dialogue,
clients gain insights into their interactions and develop healthier ways of relating. This approach fosters an environment of emotional safety, mutual understanding, and a stronger sense of togetherness.
Combining these powerful approaches, Ginger strives to create a therapeutic space where individuals, couples, and families can explore their unique challenges, discover their strengths, and embark on a
journey of growth, acceptance, and lasting change. Ginger’s passion lies in supporting clients as they build authentic connections, overcome obstacles, and lead lives aligned with their most cherished values
and aspirations.
