
Kathy is a Marriage, Couples and Family Intern. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Gonzaga University in Marketing and is currently pursuing a masters in Marriage, Couples and Family Counseling at George Fox University. Kathy believes every person has a story and that our relationships color our view of life. She feels that words can help heal especially when clients feel stuck.
Kathy’s desire is to take a humanistic approach in helping clients discover hope and meaning even during the harder seasons of life. She has a heart for those who see themselves as caregivers and a passion for working with children and families.
Kathy has worked with teens and children for the past twenty years. She utilizes Child Centered Play Therapy and Sand Tray Therapy as a means for clients to tell their stories. She also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapies as the primary modalities in her practice.
