Group Therapy Opportunities

Group Therapy: Understanding Our Grief

Our grief can come to us through the loss of a loved one, a job, our own agency or health, or through the change in a relationship. This support group will help individuals identify their grief and will introduce coping mechanisms to help with it. Peer support as well as education and training from the facilitator will be the primary format of this group experience.

With a background in Ordained Ministry and advanced training and experience as a Hospital Chaplain, Kelle facilitates the group knowing that everyone’s source and experience of grief is unique, but there is strength in a community that can understand and support each other during the process of understanding the dimensions of the grief we carry.

Group Therapy: Couples Communication & Engagement

This is a great and lively group for couples who want to advance their communication and bond with each other. Couples will spend time working with the facilitator and other couples to gain more awareness of where communication can be enhanced in their relationship. Each couple will also get time alone with the therapist/facilitator to work on more specific issues.

This group celebrates all couples regardless of marital status or sexual orientation.

Throughout the course of the year, different group therapy opportunities are offered.

Group Therapy gives individuals and couples a chance to be part of a larger discussion specific to the needs and challenges that are currently being faced.
