DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is an evidence-based approach that combines mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. It’s a powerful toolset that empowers individuals to develop healthier coping mechanisms and build meaningful relationships. Whether you’re struggling with managing intense emotions, coping with stress, improving communication, or simply seeking personal growth, this group is designed to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to learn and grow together.

Group Topic: Building Sensory Boxes

Where: Kelle DeBruin Counseling

When: September 2023

This group is designed for children and adolescents to build and understand the value of a sensory box. Sensory boxes provide opportunities for young people the chance to explore multiple senses, including sight, sound, touch, and smell. They’ll enjoy running their hands through the filler material and watching what happens as they pour it out. Many materials you can put in a sensory bin provide a wonderful tactile sensation.
