Meet Andrea Siferd

Professional Counselor Associate

Andrea knows well how transformative working with the right therapist can be. Before earning her master’s degree from Antioch University, Andrea found meaning and purpose working with adults in early recovery from addiction and mental health disorders. It was that experience that led Andrea to pursue a career in counseling.

Andrea has experience treating adults struggling with issues like perfectionism, uncontrollable worry, conflicts with loved ones, low self-esteem and people-pleasing.

Strong therapeutic relationships have deep trust, authenticity, and respect at their core, and Andrea regards these qualities as highly as the theories that inform her practice. She utilizes an integrative approach to therapy, incorporating client centered, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral therapies. Andrea also believes that receiving feedback from clients empowers them while guiding her to be a more effective counselor.
